Embrace your wounds and let hork’s anxiety overwhelm your senses.
Inspired by the Dadaistic spirit of the 80s, and the raw sound of the 90s, hork’s music is unpredictable and passionate. Through his music, hork explores his feelings of dread, anguish and pessimism. Existentialism is at the core of his writing, whilst his heart is in control of his instruments.
About
History
From electronic hip hop to dark synth and industrial pop, hork’s music has evolved with its creator throughout the years of releases. Adam began writing and making music at 17, moving through grunge and punk to psychedelic funk rock purely as a drummer. Various amounts of experimentation with other instruments lead to the creation of hork, a project for his own personal growth and wellbeing, and the continuous push of his own boundaries of musical expression.
After taking his work seriously for so long, hork decided to have a little fun and return to his roots of dark industrial and nu metal music that he fell in love with at an early age. His reliance on such oppressive, angry and melancholic styles of music are now reflected in his anxiety driven industrial pop.

A drastic change in lifestyle, support, and environment forced hork into a crisis of identity, wildly morphing into something he no longer recognised.
“The self image I once had was heavily influenced by other people's opinions and perceptions of me: I was tainted”
The majority of this EP was written in early 2023 after a few years of counselling. For hork this was a transformative experience and helped pinpoint key parts of his life that made him unique, and moulded him, for better or worse.
Transfusion and Lullaby were recorded shortly after his mother's death, with both songs reflecting his most desperate moments and brief desire for nothingness.
“Life is about adapting to new circumstances, fighting for survival. But what if you aren’t equipped for that? Should you just give up?”
Delving into these negative aspects of life became hork’s self-care, giving back the hope that was present in his earlier work.
“The best support we ever have is ourselves. Nurture your passion and celebrate the small victories. And never be afraid to be uncomfortable.”
Via Negativa is set to be released on 31st May, with pre-orders available from the 1st May.
